Data & Power Lines

Wiring Data and Power Lines Can Be a Hassle, Let Us Take it From Here.

When structuring data and power lines, nothing is more frustrating than encountering a spiderweb cluster of wires with loose ends leading to absolutely no where. Fortunately, with careful attention to detail and a keen sense of organization, structured wiring setup can save a ton of time in the future when adding additional devices to the network. Whether you require data or power lines, our dedication to a proper and effective setup will guarantee a structure that lasts.

CAT 5e

Physically similar to its predecessor, CAT 5e has been enhanced to reduce the potential for crosstalk interference from adjacent wires. CAT 5e has also upgraded to support a maximum frequency of 100MHz and speeds up to 1000 Mbps at 100 meters making it perfect for small space installations.

While CAT 5e cables feature 1.5-2 twists per cm, CAT 6 cables are more tightly wound featuring 2 or more twists per cm and requiring a thicker sheath to protect from Near End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Allen Crosstalk (AXT). CAT 6 cables support speeds up to 10Gbps at 37-55 meters making them very much ideal for many business uses.

CAT 7 cables offer extensive shielding to reduce signal attenuation, however require grounding and GigaGate(GG45) connectors to take full advantage of higher performance features. Strength wise, CAT 7 cables can not only support 10 Gbps, but also 40 Gb at 50 meters and even 100 Gb at 15 meters. CAT 7 cables are suited for datacenters and large enterprise networks.
